Las Vegas, Nevada as a location for adult..

Nevada appears to a good state in which to incorporate.

I am wondering about the experiences of adult companies located in Las Vegas.

How is Las Vegas as a jurisdiction/ location for the adult business?

I've got a NV corp...it's ok. No income tax is nice. But I don't live in NV?

works for me. :thumbsup

Adult casinos as locations... sounds good

I believe if you inc. as an adult biz, they do tax you on top of the standard inc. taxes...At least that's what I noticed when I was looking at the forms. I could be totally off the mark though.

The perk is that we have no state tax and no franchise tax.

That depends on what you plan to shoot there. Not sure why you would be asking this question on a forum instead of asking an Adult Industry attorney......

Most of the producers in Las Vegas are not following the laws anyway so their advice/opinions about your specific question would be useless. :2 cents:

Use your head.

really I'm always kinda shocked at the level of questions that are asked on a board. Judge is going to love hearing one day that CockEater666 on the gofuckyourself.com msg board said that you didn't have to pay taxes. :2 cents:

Sure maybe ask the questions but for sure before doing anything follow it up with a lawyer, etc. etc. :2 cents:

Agreed. I have plenty of lawyers and corporation experts, and I value their advice.

However, in this post, I am looking for additional information, the practical experience of people in the adult business.

Is Las Vegas a good location for an adult business, in your experience as an operator?

What are the community standards in Las Vegas? I imagine they are pretty permissive. Has this ever been litigated?

How do the courts in Las Vegas compare with Los Angeles? San Francisco?

EGC is incorporated in Vegas and I must say I've had no problems ...
