Naughty America Steps Up

I won't post the email here (I will let them explain themselves) but if I read it correctly, I would have to say that they get a big thumbs up from me.

Maybe you can teach some of the other companies how to spot that stuff?

Spunky 03-16-2007 08:49 PM

This one that I got 6 times? :)
Dear Naughty America Affiliates,

Our 90% program “Raising the Bar” is still going strong in its last month. There is still plenty of time for each and every one of you to take advantage of this program and reap the rewards of 90% payouts. Our NA Flash games have launched and are being used by many affiliates, don't miss out on this great new tool; it can help bring in the sales to get you a little more cash out of the 90% program as well. All the linking codes to Naughty America Games are now available; please contact us to get a jump on it. As our Gold affiliates already know our newest site, Diary of a Nanny, has just launched! Diary of a Nanny takes all the fantasies anyone has had about their nannies and brings them to life, in the same fashion as our popular Diary of a Milf site. Also in just 2 weeks we will be headed out to Phoenix Arizona , for the annual Phoenix forum. One of the biggest webmaster events of the year we hope to see you there. On another note there have been internet problems across the US recently. Level 3 and ATT are running into capacity issues on the east coast and Midwest that is affecting New York , Chicago , and various other states. Have a great weekend!

Our newest site Diary of a Nanny has released and now all the banners, content and linking codes are available for affiliate use. Take advantage of this new site as it's sure to be another winner.

We've just launched a new site called, Diary of a Nanny. The name says it all; it is the sexual escapades of some very Naughty Nannies. Diary of a Nanny is similar to our other hit site Diary of a Milf; it takes the naughty diary entries of some sex crazed nanny's that go above and beyond what their job entails. From helping Mr. Man of the house relieve some of that pent up tension, to giving Mrs. Women of the house here first real Orgasm. They do it all and somehow find time to cook and clean. If you've ever had a nanny you've fantasized about or have ever dreamed about having one, this site is for you.

Spunky, no... you fail.

Dear Naughty America Affiliate,

During this past month it was brought to our attention that an affiliate of ours has been using “fraudulent methods” to funnel traffic and sales from your accounts to their own personal account. We put a stop to this last week as soon as it was brought to our attention as well as taken preventative measures to stop this from happening in the future.

We have also gone back through our system to target every sale that was made and credit it back to the rightful affiliates. The extra money will appear in your balance forward column under your “Payment History” in the “Statistics” section.

JamesK2 03-16-2007 10:34 PM

Impressive from them to do indeed.

RawAlex 03-16-2007 10:35 PM

There are some other programs that need to learn how to deal with these sorts of issues with something other than "it happens, too bad".

Tempest 03-17-2007 12:53 AM

Yeah.. Nice to see they're going to at least try and credit the appropriate person the sales were stolen from.

CaptainHowdy 03-17-2007 01:52 AM

Alrighty then...

Basically they did extra work to give money away as opposed to cancelling the cheater and just pocketing the cash.

Other programs could learn a lot from this example.

smutx 03-17-2007 09:26 AM

nice to see a company that still cares about their affiliates

porno jew 03-17-2007 09:32 AM

how are they going to find out where the sales were from? smells like bs to me.

Go back, look at the original referer of the traffic that made purchases. I have a feeling that this is a "join page code switch", so there would be good a valid info available.

Quick Buck 03-17-2007 09:49 AM

now that affiliate is probably just funneling it to another sponsor.

jayeff 03-17-2007 09:52 AM

Way to go!

It seems crazy to keep adding to threads about the bad guys without giving props to the good, so for the rest of this month at least, I'm going to have NA in my sig (with no affiliate ID).

What's your point? That thieves have program owners by the balls because they don't want to lose that traffic? :helpme

It's great that NaughtyAmerica is making a stand, they deserve all the props they are getting.

If enough programs grew some balls and cared even one iota bout their affiliates they would take the same steps as NA have.

The affiliate will get really tired or working hard and NOT getting a paycheck. Only takes a few months with no pay before the scammers will give up.

RyuLion 03-17-2007 11:00 AM

NA rocks! great people..

LadyMischief 03-17-2007 11:22 AM

I expect nothing less from Naughty America. Rocking people over there.

I truly think that if sponsors spent a little more time looking at their affiliate stats and mining the data they would see that cheaters (especially code changers and "popover" toolbars) stand out like a banana in a bunch of grapes.

However, it appears that very, very few of them have the motivation to worry about their honest affiliates, and as such, NA stands out in a see of malaise.

Statement regarding future posts on our Fraud Deterrents

Dear Affiliates and GFY'ers,

A few questions have come up since we announced the disbursement of money from this fraudulent affiliate.

Some of the questions cannot be answered as we do not intend to alert those fraudulent affiliates of our methods or deterrents for stopping them. Though I have provided general answers below, I will have more specific answers emailed directly to affiliates affected by this fraud.

We would like not to prolong any message board chat regarding any specifics as we did not wish to nor intend to make this a publicity ploy.

We ask that no specifics of any future emails be given out on message boards as this is a serious issue and we?d like to not divulge any of the information as it only hinders us from stamping out this fraudulent activity.

We had sales that were stolen from you as an affiliate by another affiliate and we wanted to alert you as an affiliate of such and give the rightful money to the rightful affiliates.

There was not a large amount of money removed.

We were able to catch this affiliate because we work very closely with all of our affiliates and that allowed us to catch this affiliate in the early stages.

Those of you that we had found had sales stolen by this affiliate should have an amount of money in your balance forward for last period to account for this, you can also expect to have that monthly as we plan on running a check for any recurring derived from these sales.

The Fraudulent affiliates traffic had stopped prior to us sending out this notice, so this had no effect on his activity, however we have left the account open for any sales that may come thru so that we may send it to the appropriate affiliates.

We appreciate all your praise and are very proud and honored that you would take the time to commend us on our efforts.

We take great pride in ensuring that we keep a solid long business relationship with all of our affiliates and we will stop anything or anyone that threatens that.

The Difference is Here.
