Record Temps In AZ

It is soooo hot here! Yesterday the temperature was 99 degrees, the hottest day in the history of Phoenix. The forecasts say that things should be back to normal next week, temps in the high 70's low eighties. :thumbsup

For those of you attending the Phoenix Forum, I would suggest bringing your swim trunks/bathing suit, shorts, hats, and any other summer gear.

I live in Mexico, next to Az, two days ago we were at 106.7, it was not that hot in that day since 40 years ago or so. Crazy shit.

what I'm trying to say is that the temperature was not that high on March 15 or so since 40 years. Sorry for the little confusion.

We had record temps (for this time of the year) here in the Bay Area too!

High 70's and some 80's even...it's not even officially Spring yet, but it's already feeling like summer. :firehair

Actually Arizona does have humidity in the summer time. It is not always a dry heat like people think.

hezochiah 03-17-2007 09:39 PM

Going through the summers here is definitely worth it though when you get to about October-February and the weather's perfect. Plus, being able to golf year round is always nice too.

I just got back from enjoying St. Patty's Day while watching the bball games outside, in a tank top, sweating and drinking beers. Oh yeah, and the sun was down by this point.

The tanning bed I use is safer than going out in the sun.

This is the bed I use

How Instant Tanning Works

High Pressure lamps produce UV-A and UV-B in different ratios than conventional tanning units; just enough UV-B to stimulate the melanin production required and a lot of UV-A to really oxidize that melanin and turn it golden brown.

High Pressure tanning is the quickest way to get a deep, golden color and the results are much longer-lasting. Therefore, for most people, great color can be achieved in as little as 3 sessions with only 2-4 sessions per month necessary to maintain a luminous bronze.

Furthermore, the lower UV-B output of high pressure does not cause as much drying of the skin and does not accelerate the exfoliation process as in conventional tanning. Hence, the longer-lasting tan!

High Pressure tanning is also the only way for fair-skinned people to achieve awesome results in a short period of time without worrying about burning.

In short, High Pressure tanning gives you 6-8 times faster results, extremely low burning rays, a much more comfortable, longer-lasting tan, fewer tan lines and less drying on your skin.

So 99F is the hottest day ever, or just the hottest day ever for this time of year?
