I'm pulling out the old HDs etc, and I take off the front casing. Exposed is pretty much ten years of dust. Urgh.

Oh and I just managed to format a HD with a load of pics on it I'd rather keep. If you can recommend a decent revovery app I'd be very grateful. Posted a request for one in this thread

I have a 486 laptop that still boots into DOS 3.1 I believe.. Not totally sure on the version.. Doesn't have a lot of the functionality you would have with DOS 6.

you've got to open that stuff up outdoors. especially with the amount of dust you've got ,in there.

I have had several customers ask me why their machines where overheating and they looked exactly like that.

I blow mine out every other month. I learned the hard way what all that dust will do to the heat sink on the CPU.
