Looking to buy a Second "daily car" any suggestions?

I am thinking about a Nissan or a Altima, i gotta get my ass to the dealer and see whats up, and also a honda.

Gonna lease it and abuse it .

JuiceMonkey 03-23-2007 04:58 AM

Sexsitesurfer 03-23-2007 04:59 AM

Honda and Nissan are both good makes, reliable and well priced!

Habberstad Nissan on Jericho TPKE has some aggressive deals going on. Ask for Larry.

I think they have some 0% financing deals going on with credit approval of course.

dynamicseo 03-23-2007 05:02 AM

hey, all the best there... but i think Honda is the reliable one performance wise...

comes with a turbo... same price as an accord I think or cheaper..

Pimpin_J 03-23-2007 05:13 AM

The new BMW Z4 with the facelift is pretty slick! :thumbsup Not even expensive. Starting at 40k i think, but for a roadster like this its fair :winkwink:

DonkeyPunchProductions 03-23-2007 05:23 AM

If u want a car to abuse I will sell you my black 1998 528i BMW (my life savings) for 7K. It has 75K miles on her and needs some work (will provide the dealership's estimate of repair). Against better advice, going all in on the donkey. Sink or swim.

Juicy D. Links 03-23-2007 05:24 AM

i am looking at BMW's actually and the prices arent bad for a lease

EdgeXXX 03-23-2007 05:25 AM

Depends entirely on what your reason is for buying it (fuel economy, reliability, retain value of 1st vehicle, etc.)

Jman 03-23-2007 08:14 AM

LilBro 03-23-2007 08:20 AM

...then don't get a BMW - they barely hold up to normal daily use let alone 'abuse'.

That's a very good car, got muscles too.

MikeVega 03-23-2007 08:33 AM

Juicy .. I love the Honda Accord i drive to the office every day .. it's great on gas and drives really nice .. go check them out ..grreat car for the money and last forever

Minte 03-23-2007 08:40 AM

I you are looking for a pounder, you should buy it. At the end of a lease they will screw you badly on any damage, mileage overages, etc.

thehand 03-23-2007 08:47 AM

These are great on gas:thumbsup

I had an Altima when they first came out - GREAT little car. And you can get a decent sized engine in it :)

tony286 03-23-2007 09:23 AM

I would buy something cash and not the greatest looking so you can park it anywhere and if it gets banged up who cares. If you beat the shit out of a leased car they will make you pay for it.

james_clickmemedia 03-23-2007 09:42 AM

The bmw 325 is a good daily driver if it is big enough. When I owned a bmw they used to give the 325 as a loaner car when mine was being serviced....

Nismo 03-23-2007 09:44 AM

If you get the altima, make sure you get the 3.5 and not the 2.5. The 2.5 has no balls.

BradM 03-23-2007 09:47 AM

Juicy. Pick up an Audi A4 or if you want a little more power you could get the BMW.

A decked out civic is a real nice car also.

I agree with Mike. They are great cars and if you get a new one fully loaded it's just a small step below an Acura. :thumbsup

Its Not really a truck its a station wagon with all the toys, rides like a car, mine has sunroof etc. Also an all wheel drive would be good for you in winter:thumbsup

BAKO 03-23-2007 10:52 AM

For a second car I have a Honda Accord 06, good reliable curb hopper ;)

Infiniti dude, been a maintenance free paradise so far. Even the older I30's used.

emthree 03-23-2007 11:31 AM

The E39 5 Series would make a good daily.
I drive mine everyday.

CyberAgeGary 03-23-2007 11:57 AM
