Saw The Hills Have Eyes 2 Tonight

Dare I say it was almost better than the first? It was at least as good. Horror genre sequels don't often stand up, but this one did.

It was freaky, bloody, and made me jump out of my skin repeatedly. I totally want to see it again. :thumbsup

I thought the first one sucked, can't imagine the sequel is much better.

Really??? What about it didn't you like?

I'm a big fan of movies that make me giggle when people die. Reminded me just a little bit of a Rob Zombie movie in that way.

Besides, any movie that begins with a chick in labor being killed is guaranteed to be wildly inappropriate and right up my alley. Nothing is sacred.

There was nothing about it I did like. Too fake I guess.

For some reason when it first came out I had an entirely wrong perception of what it would be about. I could barely stay awake thru it. Pretty sure I dozed off in the middle and woke up in time to see the ending.

You mean there really isn't a secret sector in the US where mutants pick off travelers one by one? :winkwink:

The first time I watched it, I totally expected nothing. In fact, I thought it would be shit and was pleasantly surprised.

I'm with you man. Its one of the worst movies I ever saw.

I personally hate watching "Scary Movies" but I was on vacation last year in Florida with my girlfriend and our two friends and they bought it at Wal-mart coz we were staying home that night. So we bought some Vodka and popped the DVD in (people power made me watch it)

Well anyway, we all thought it was the worst movie we saw and even started making jokes about it during the movie. It was in no way scary and in the end it was just stupid.

I thought the first one was fucking stupid. No way I'll watch the second one

No, I mean it was not even close to being scary. And there were not enough travelers to pick off to make a feature length movie. Maybe an hour long TV show, with commercials.

Having known & been friends with the Cumming's brothers for many years, I still say his movies suck.

Turboface 03-24-2007 10:56 PM

We just watched the first one the other night. I haven't laughed at a horror movie as much since the Evil Dead movies, but the only problem is that The Hills Have Eyes wasn't trying to make me laugh.

:1orglaugh
