Washington State is frigging stupid.
 

I just was watching the news, and there was a piece about how they are changing the laws to further encourage (ie force) online businesses to charge WA state sales tax for products delivered to Washington State.

Their claim is that it will help local businesses and generate more revenue. They also hope that this will encourage other states to adopt similar measures.

This is soooo frigging stupid. :mad:

Um....? Why? Most states do that...

If you sell the product to someone in the same state is the state not intitled to the tax that every other brick and mortar business in the state must charge?

Welcome to the real world. The only thing stupid is that they don't realize other states already have adopted similar measures years ago.

I hear some of the best weed in the country comes from that state... Maybe that is why they are so slow to caught up :1orglaugh

She ain't *my* Govenor and the bitch better have someone on my door with a court order to search my UPS/FedEx deliveries.

If I can buy it cheaper out of state - guess what I'm gonna do.

The delivery compagnies should be in charge of that... or something like that.

It's coming guys and gals, might take some time for most states but online sales tax will be here.

We drop ship for alot of companies that don't want to charge there customers any sales tax.

In Oregon we have no sales tax (one of 3 states without) and it works out well for us and our clients.
