Gnu... ADG Webmaster |
see, adult arent the only ones getting fucked by companies making money off of stolen content. basically youtube is one giant GUBA except with an ad rev model instead of subscription members area based. lol.
you tube allows user submitted videos which they host. "Viacom alleges that about 160,000 unauthorised clips of its programmes have been loaded onto YouTube's site and viewed more than 1.5 billion times." heres what google says to their inquiry "Google, which owns YouTube, has said it is confident that YouTube has respected the legal rights of copyright holders." hmmmnnn, not sure how they can respect the copyright holders rights by allowing people access to viacoms content and make money with it. wierd. |

Really it's pretty damn stupid to fight it, when they have the ability to make money from it online just like they can when airing the shows on TV. It's just like the idiotic recording companies trying to stop people from sharing mp3's. It's never going to happen, so they need to learn to take advantage of what the net has to offer. I seriously can't believe these companies are so naive to the money they can make from the web. |
sounds pretty cool, its about time...
