Not much experience? He has over 50 professional fights under his belt and went pro in k1 in 1996....

And has been in pride since 2001.

He holds notable wins over Josh Barnett, Wanderlei Silva, Kazushi Sakuraba and Mark Coleman in mixed martial arts, and against Remy Bonjasky, Peter Aerts, Jerome LeBanner and Mark Hunt in kickboxing.

He was the first person to defeat Bob Sapp in 2000, in just like over a minute.

Here is the video where he beat Sapp. Broke his orbital socket. You can see the pain on Sapp's face

https://youtube.com/watch?v=YhPsBrAeI...elated&search=

Here is his knockout of Silva

Lots of his stuff on http://www.sportsfights.net

CroCop is fucking amazing and has gotten a lot better at MMA over the years, even though he came in being an incredible striker. I can't wait until the Fedor Crocop HW champ superfight in the first Pride/UFC joint show!

hey I never said he wasent strong... he does lack experience in the martial arts world.. I belive he took up fighting after he was a cop if I am not mistaken.. not sure correct me if I am wrong...

Doctor Dre 04-05-2007 10:16 AM

Watch the fight between Crocop and Fedor...

Fedor is the best, nobody can argue with that. He totally dominated crocop.

What the fuck are you talking about ? he's been the most active fighter in MMA in the last 2-3 years... and he's fought GREAT fighters, not B rated.

He was anti terrorist special ops.

Do some research, because you really don't know what you are talking about right now... The guy has fought in MMA non stop for years, he has the best take down defence in MMA.

VeriSexy 04-05-2007 10:22 AM

Fedor is a machine...

never really followed him to be honest thats why I said correct me if I am wrong :).. he is baddass... I dunno man fighting to me now a days on a "big level" like that has lost it's appeal to me... I did know he was a baddass in the Law Enforcement rhealm of things.. and the dood has a very hard left kick but other than that.. watching him fight to me is just watching someone who hits harder than his opp... I just don't personally see lots of "skill" in hitting really hard... now no body take this the GFY way and make it sound like I am challenging crocop I just honestly don;t think he is " the baddest around" he is bad... but I just don't know for hand to hand if he is "the best"

Doctor Dre 04-05-2007 10:30 AM

DirtyDanza, with Andersen Silva he is the most technical striker in the MMA world. He has knockouts power from his every hand and foot... he is very technical and accurate.

If you don't like this guy, then you must hate Lidell who is a counter puncher and pretty much use the same strategy with less skills...

Personally I loved to see him fight Fedor, Wand (twice), Mark Hunt, Randleman etc... He gives an awesome show.

So you like Jui Juitsu fighters more?

i am always suprised when lidell wins. he just doesn't have the presence of a serious pro fighter... he looks more like a brawler thats just running on borred time. i understand he is a good fighter... but technically, he doesn't look good at all. but obviously his record speaks for itself.

Yes he likes Jiu Jitsu more, he has said many times before that he is a black belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu

Win lose or Draw, CroCop fights are always exciting. And I think another fight with Fedor may just go his way.
But i don't really care, if that fight happens again the real winners will be fight fans.

Cro Cop is the best

Here is one when he shows great defense and choke out randleman in just over 1 minute

https://youtube.com/watch?v=jrrh28BvR8U

*Fedor is the best for sure but Cro Cop is second in my opinion. Sure if he has a very bad day or you get a lucky punch on cro cop he's beatable but no one is unbeatable!

Which isn't true, he's a liar.

Cro Cop's stamina and take down defense has improved a lot since he fought Fedor. I personally think he's capable of beating him. Fedor might well be better, but wouldn't beat him 10 out of 10 fights.

What people fail to realise is that Lidell spent hundreads of hours in the gym practicing his ground game... he's a very well rounded fighter... he's just keeping it very simple. He's the kind of fighter (like Wanderlei and Crocop) that you know exactly what he's going to do before the fight...

But as far as skills goes, he's a very well rounded fighter, up and down.

And he can kick pretty good too.

His game plan is to stand up and counter punch. Very technical and his hits are highly accurate. He has a radar on his fist or something...

Totally agree, but don't forget that Fedor can do the chicken dance and still submit your ass 30 seconds later, then walk half knocked in zig zag to go get your belt.

I don't know how he trains but he's the only fighter I've seen that dosen't look a part of his fighting sence while getting knocked... he must have gotten used to it or something, because that's really crazy. Every fighter will tell you : You don't get used to getting punched, it's scary all the time.

i just mean that at first glance, he looks like a brawler, not someone thats well skilled in several fighting arts... his stance is awkward, his hands are usually very low or totally at his side and he relies heavily on that overhand right which works well. he is extremely good at drawing people in with his posture and then countering. he is also one of those people that can't really switch it on until someone throws at him.

what do you think about that International Fight League? I watched it for a few minutes the other day after finding it on accident... it seemed kinda wierd. i personally can't see people rooting for teams when its a sport solely about individuals.

Yeah I think Fedor is the best with the greatest chin ever but I really thought mark hunt was going to beat him with two incredible positions to end the game, rather incredible fedor fought back and won on KO over Mark hunt.

:) :)

Fedor had a broken toe and couldn't train for a couple weeks... he also wasn't 100 % that night. That affects your balance a lot and fedor's gameplan is based on his great balance.

For long term MMA fans it's great... and it's a good thing for fighters too, since they don't have to worry about getting a contract and getting paid.

It's a good format, there has been lots of shows in smaller MMA leagues (even pride Bushido) with teams. Japan VS USA etc etc...

Carlos Newton, the Gracies and Bass Rueten bring a nostalgic feelings to long term pride FC fans.

I love it. But there are only 2 monsters in the business. Pride and UFC. K1 is great too but it's not MMA.

After that comes IFL, TKO(ucc), Bodog, and all the other organisations.

wtf kind of logic is that, he wouldnt beat him 10 out of 10 fights

and you cant be the best ever if you havent beat the current best ever

fedor is number 1

dig420 04-05-2007 02:08 PM

Fedor is tops. Mark Hunt had Crocop on the run in thier NHB fight, and Vanderleigh Silva in his prime is probably the best p4p NHB fighter ever.

Liddell is awesome but Quentin Jackson pwnt him in his prime, and would probably do it every time they fought with both in their primes. I would give a prime Vitor Belfort the edge p4p over Chuck as well when it comes to throwing hands.

I dunno I like to watch cro cop fight.. I guess I will use boxing as my ref on this one.. tyson hands down is my fav fighter to watch in boxing and I say fighter in boxing because he is a fighter not a boxer.. he puts on a good show.. hits hard.. but any time tyson faced a true boxer.. the boxer mopp'd the ring with him.... cro cop is no chump by any means don't take it like that I never said that.. like I said he hits hard.. real hard...

maybe I am off my rocker saying this but UFC and pride have become to mainstreme for me to watch and say oh thats a great fighter... when they start having "shows" to enter the ring to me it's doing a don king...

It's pretty easy logic to understand.

I'm saying that CroCop is a better fighter than he was when he fought Fedor last time, and that it's possible he could beat Fedor. Thus is they had a series of 10 fights, while Fedor would probably win most, he wouldn't win everytime.
