Gas prices in your area?

Highest I've seen around here was 3.15 for fucking Unleaded :X Shit's getting crazy guys. Might just end up getting a fucking bicycle soon :1orglaugh

candyflip 04-10-2007 11:40 AM

$2.83 at the BJ's this morning. That's member pricing. It's at least .10 more at the regular stations.

JD 04-10-2007 11:42 AM

what sucks is that I drive a little civic hatchback. shit gets like 30-35/mpg and it costs me around 30 bucks to fill up! MADNESS

OY 04-10-2007 11:42 AM

$3,49 for my gas here in LA. I spend well over $75 per filling.

Forest 04-10-2007 11:46 AM

fucking 2.84 for reg here in s fla

just fucking insane. It was 2.11 just 5 weeks ago

.73 increase in 5 weeks

fuck the gas companies

Wizzo 04-10-2007 11:47 AM

Its still around $2.75 a gallon here I think, I really don't pay attention because I'm going to fill up reguardless... :pimp

Raven 04-10-2007 11:48 AM

3.27 for premium unleaded.

RawAlex 04-10-2007 11:50 AM

fucked. I put premium in the GTI last night at $1.21 a litre, which would net out to about $4.00 US per gallon.

MikeVega 04-10-2007 11:50 AM

It was $2.98 when I left for PHX and $3.15 when i got back. that's a big jump .. I'm just going to work from home more this summer.

OY 04-10-2007 11:52 AM

Oh well, at least it is better here in the US than in countries like Norway where a gallon comes out to be about $9.00 +/-

But who cares anyways, its just money.

I've never been over seas but if I'm correct people drive smaller cars over there and they actually have a decent public transportation system in the cities...

pornguy 04-10-2007 11:56 AM

we are paying 2.98 for premium. and about 2.79 for reg.

WebairGerard 04-10-2007 11:57 AM

damn!

the low octane here is around 2.50 or so

Sami(a)Kingdollars 04-10-2007 12:01 PM

3.15 USD = 2.34654 EUR.. and a gallon is 3.7854 litres so one litre is around 0.62€.. ok.. the I can say something.. I pay around 1€/L.. if you want to know how much is that in $´s.. just do the the opposite..

shoeaholicanon 04-10-2007 12:01 PM

holy shit! well we are in the 90 cents!

dready 04-10-2007 12:02 PM

It's not nearly high enough. Another doubling would be a more reasonable price level.

Up in vancouver its 121c/L right now for 87octane, I'm paying nearly 130 for the good stuff. We're already at $5 a gallon...

It's almost cheaper for me to drive over the border to fill up heh

Yes and no - bigger cars are becoming popular in the richer countries - but still, they are on average a lot smaller yes. And yes, because of the density of the countries they tend to have a heck of a lot better transportation system in general (NYC might be the best one the US has - and of course, it is a dense city)

Sosa 04-10-2007 12:30 PM

2.68 for regular

OG LennyT 04-10-2007 12:34 PM

$2.99 a gallon in Buckeye - $3.10 a gallon 35 miles East in Scottsdale
