I would really love to no how the hell i did that? When all i run is a traffic script and tgp script with little traffic i cant afford to be shut down you no what i mean:)

Help good hosting????????

I would check out the extremer2 at www.dwhs.com

also be careful with any tgp and rotator scripts, they are resource hogs!

I recommend you check out OC3 Networks. Contact Caz (304883574) for more info and a great deal.

split_joel 04-11-2007 03:17 PM

Hey hit me up, we are running a special right now where you get half off your first three months and we can move you over right away. See sig for contact info

Sly 04-11-2007 03:27 PM

It sounds like you're on some type of virtual account. Pretty much any company would either suspend you or request that you upgrade to a dedicated, depending on how they run things. It happens, especially with script intensive sites, which you obviously have.

If you would like a Phat Servers dedicated server quote, please feel free to email me at [email protected] and I'll hook you up.

MrCain 04-11-2007 03:30 PM

OC3! I've been using OC3 for over a year now, never had a problem with them.

T - Bone 04-11-2007 03:32 PM

Sounds like you're ready for a dedicated box. Let me know if you'd like a quote from us.

Thanks!

grudgeman 04-11-2007 03:45 PM

server

ya sounds like i may need to go to a dedicated box. What sucks i will have to get all my scripts reinstalled

directfiesta 04-11-2007 04:03 PM

nope ... no reinstall needed.

a rsync to your new host and box will take care of that...

Just DNS to change.

I can give you a good virtual package on a underused box :

30 gigs space
350 gigs bw
dedicated Ip ( extra IP $1.00 each )
Cpanel, WHM, Fantastico
39.99 /month

ip to ping : 65.98.86.149

Jayvis 04-11-2007 04:03 PM

See sig, please. :)

Some of the scripts to mentioned must be installed again by the creators and they typically do charge a transfer fee.

How long would it take to get him from a virtual account to a dedicated box? As in up and running. Not counting propagation delays of the IP.

Assuming he is already using WEBAIR nameservers ( he is after all already hosting with them, virtual), that would be instant, since only the zone on webair ns servers would be required to be changed.

Propagation is for the ns , not he IP.

Good point. I should have realized that - duh.

2 observations:

#1 you didn't read my sig.

#2 You did not check where some of the links in my sig are hosted.
