Where would you invest your money in as of right now?

Real estate or the stock market?

It's not really a this or that thing. Do both. Diversification is the key to any long term investment strategy.

That said... I would place a higher weighting to stocks and options at this point though. Real estate is a bit high still and will fall some more before it rebounds again but there are some bargains out there.

nothing can beat a diversified stock portfolio, mix things up, if you want exposure to RE, buy some REIT funds...

gold.

both of those markets are going to go to PURE shit in the next couple years.

gold on the other hand is going to sky rocket.

gold for sure ... ask yourself something about the current state of the treasury in the US. bubbles waiting to burst, 2billion a day needed in foreign investment in the US to keep the ball rolling. gold now, when everything crashes (they come in waves) then buy up all that realestate.
