I saw them on the Power Windows tour, when they were pretty undisputedly my favorite band on the planet, and I kinda think they are a better band on really good headphones at 3am than they are a concert show. Probably still an amazing killer first concert for kids though.

good stuff :thumbsup I remember back in 82 or something trying to learn the solo for "Tom Sawyer", I was like 1 month playing that tune until I finally did it, at that time Alex Lifeson was my hero, lol. However, I was a big fan of 2112 and Fly by Night, By-Thor's drum solo gave me an orgsam every fucking time I listened to it

Apparently they won't come to Winnipeg, because 25+ years ago at a show here some idiot tossed a beer out of the crowd and hit Geddy with it. The band won't get over that one lone incident and they hold an entire city in contempt for it, and have done so for over 2 decades.

Sad.


But I do love a lot of their tunes. Who else here owns the Caress of steel album?
