There are recordings of this guy, an engineer or something, who knew the wtc inside out. He went inside after the plane hit the building to help people get out. He kept calling with the control center to keep them up to date with the situation. When he reached the area where the plane entered he said the damage was HUGE and he was afraid the tower might collapse because of it.

Paul Laffoley, one of the guys who designed and worked on building the original WTC's for 18 months, claims that there were explosives originally built into the buildings due to the fact that so many buildings were going up and down in those days.
