Actualy there are more ways to get free domain,but generaly it is reccomend to avoid free domains from host beacuse then host control domain.

A lot of you guys are seriously misinformed about the usage of free domain names from the hosts. Well, my host at least gives me complete control over the domain. It's in my name, I have control over where it sits, etc. As long as I stay with them I don't have to pay the fees. When I leave said host I may leave with the domain but I'll have to handle the fees then.
If your host doesn't do the same than that's some bs right there and you shouldn't be with a host like that.
