Blog entry idea of the day. A simple way to market on a viral level.
 

If you want your blog and or site to be updated with quality content and information daily, your creativity can get drained. So I thought I would come up with an entry targeted at viral marketing. This is nothing spectacular, but it is the small things that matter.

-Target the viral, word of mouth market.

You don?t have to have some incredible youtube type video for this. You can actually encourage it. Inside of Weg?s flash promos, I set our flash player up to contain a ?SHARE? link. This is different than Youtube and most every other viral video set up as it contains the share code in the player; And that share code contains your affiliate id.

Here is a screencap of the player. Notice the bottom right-hand corner?

That is the share code. It contains your affiliate id.

So, you would simply login to your wordpress dashboard and pull up the write form.

Once that is up, click on ?code.?

Then insert the embed code.

Now, obviously, just inserting the video isn?t enough. So, I would suggest adding in some text and encouraging people to share the video.

?Awesome new video I found. You can share this with your friends, pretty cool.?

You would want to improve that, however, you get the idea. It only takes one link to make your traffic spike. Every time they post that video, all links carry your id.
