Are those the only sizes you offer?

Specifying the frame size != 'HD'. I don't know why people don't understand this. You need the bitrate and the frame size to asses the 'quality' of the content. 700x384 is nowhere near the ill defined 'HD'. Especially at the mediocre bitrate that you are using on those samples. :2 cents:

These are the specs that we offer on the site. We had to compromise a little bit in order for us to have a "deliverable" product. But dont fear if you need full HD I can provide whatever specs you require since we have been shooting in HD for the past 2 years, we have all the masters.

Wow! First off I dont sell to the consumer. That is what you do. As I said in my earlier response, if you need content HD we have been filming in HD since 2005 so I have a huge library of HD masters and we also shoot 5 days a week so it grows larger and larger. I can deliver masters or whatever specs are needed. That "nice" promo you saw was another example of what we can do...which is whatever you want to do!

HD niche? Ok sure buddy. You really dont know.

All of our video since late 2004 has been shot in HD. Most of our clients do not want to provide true HD which would be 1920x1080. Mucho bandwidth! We have provided 720 HD to many clients and can do the same for all. This option is not automated on the website due to file size. The size we provide for instant download/ftp are compressed from HD masters and have a noticeable quality difference. Another thing is this you keep talking about the screen sizes as if you know something. Me personally I am a nube in all this our video guys handle the tech shit. But I know enough to know the diffrence is in the codec WMV vs Quicktime HD etc... we offer it if you wanna some.

Are you missing my point? Why not post several differnent compressed WMV of different bitrates and sizes to show people the quality level you can provide? My main point, is this association of HD and your sizes listed on that page "HD 700x384, HD 500x280, HD 300x170". Why use this poor quality clips, when you clearly have the ability to offer higher quality material.

I get your point...it was an example of what we offer on the site. When you are working with a library as huge as ours then you have to come up with a "middle road" because not all of our clients want HD or even large files. So we offer the medium on the site. I dont think there are many people out there who buy content that wouldn't ask for what they want. Trust me I spend a lot of time filling custom orders (low-end and hi-end).

If someone tells me they have a 1280x720 at 4Mbps, I know that it's going to look good. If it's an xvid, divx, H.264, or WMV, it's (in my opinion) secondary information.
