Name Cheap Or Moniker ?

What does the catagory matter? I'm curious.

I am looking for a company that is realible and will not fuck with my domain names like fuckfly did :).

Also price , I like to have who is protection on all my domains, and I am trying to register another 45 cool names this week.

are yu having issues with registerfly? since all that shit started I have never touched my domains and I never panicked...my domains have always remained up and are still in the admin and I can alter all the info now

i use namecheap, both are active lurkers here on GFY

I lost 80+ domains with them, some of them were very old niche domains. I had auto renew setup on all my domains, which didn't work because of their technical drama. enom offered to register them, even then only I was able to salvage 16 names, rest is taken by some fucking quaters.

i recommend namecheap but moniker is okay...

Richard is well known on GFY, and is a stand up guy - i would trust him with my entire portfolio.

I use another one, but both are good from what I hear.

I would rather use a non-us registrar... usa is pretty anal with porn.

Ive been very happy with namecheap, however their lack of phone support is a little cause for concern. That being said they do reply to their emails (give or take a day or so).... :2 cents:

Get out now if you can. I had no problems either until I had several domains that came up for renewal, I paid for the renewals but they didn't renew. I tried to get ahold of tech support for three weeks multiple support tickets phone calls etc. all went unanswered. Not only that but I spent at least 30 min on hold long distance each time with every # that was posted on their support page, only to get a recorded message asking me to leave a message, but the mailbox is full please try back again later.....arrrrrg So I finally charged back and within 12 hours my account was suspended and all of the domains that I had there were moved to another account. I have at this point lost all control of those domains, no way to change dns/renew etc. The few domains that I had paid to have renewed expired and of those domains with traffic have been redirected to a generic registerfly ppc page. What a fucking nightmare! Registerfly are a bunch of crooks :mad:
