What is a good security suite to replace Norton and McAfee?

I have 2 pc's with vista, one running Norton and the other McAfee and they are both resources hogs and very complex.

What is a good software to replace them?
Live OneCare 1.5 by Microsoft?
Kaspersky?

Ive been using Spy Sweeper for a few years now and it has worked great. I had a few trojans here and there and the program always got rid of them. It's good for installing programs, BHO's and everything else
