I used to be sympathetic to people on short buses as well until I began to read your posts.
|
Just searched for the keywords Al Queda, Al Qaeda, terror, afghanistan, iraq... bin laden... none found. Where does it say he was sympathetic to Al Queda?

Funny how 200 people died in Iraq today. The largest death count in a single day since the war started and for US news stations it's almost just a foot note.
I know the VT shooting is a big deal, but you would think something like 200 people dieing in a country we are currently at war in. Well you would think it would be a bigger story than a second day news on a mas shooting. Not to take away from the students that lost their lives but I guess it's simple.. 33 college students and one "mad man" > 200 Iraqi civilians hence the reason I don't even bother to check US news stations anymore. |

unless you linked us to the wrong article, there is nothing in there that even mentions the Al-Qaeda or that this kid was "sympathetic" to their cause.
