Cheatingxxxwife advice to DebsDeepthoat

We have a tonne of affiliates from here and elswhere, and made a desicion 6 months ago to stop filming as Wendy had enough of it.

No need to shut down our site, we just did one last couple of filming sessions, removed a few scenes from the members area, and got enough content to have a years worth of recyled content. The surfer doesn't need to know, and they still get a years worth of new stuff so they are none the wiser.

We would never shaft our affiliates, and I couldn't turn my back on a business that makes so much money. I only need to work for 30 minutes each week doing the updates...:2 cents:

Think a bit more Deb you can still retire and keep your site going and making good money...Hell us and our affiliates make more money now than we ever have:winkwink:

keeping the site up would be a lot better then the 4 days notice to be honest...

yes...shutting it down makes no sense at all

Unless the hosting bill is higher than their income.

That's what I'm thinking. That would make sense because they would save on another months hosting if it was down by the 1st. I can't imagine that site not making any money but you never know.

The solo girl amateur sites are a strange breed - even the ones that look like they should convert like a sinner on judgment day sometimes don't.

And then there's the question of commitment - after years of effort, even if the income is good, a site can become a burden that you just can't go on carrying.

Spooky even when your 12 months of content is used up think about turning your paysite into an AVS - that's what we did and baddog is still cutting us cheques even though we haven't done a bit of promotion on it in years.

We woudn't go AVS, we make too much money to go backwards. The 12 months worth of content gets recycled. We actally have 14 months of backup content so that after 2 months of a new update being added I remove it and add it back on in 12 months time. So a member has to stay for 12 months before seeing the same stuff again. We actually started doing this 2 years ago because Wendy was starting to slow down with the filming, and it has made no impact on our $$$.

Much better than just shutting it down. Unless their site makes no money, wich I couldn't imagine.:2 cents:

I see where you're coming from. We never removed any content so that wouldn't have worked for us.

I have to think something happened like : someone found out what they are doing and worried about repercussions or they arent making money.I cant see just shutting down something if its making you a ton of money.

Find another three hours in every day for me and I just might - but don't tell the boss. She's already come up with a plan to tap into a huge mainstream market that she's trying to fit into our daily schedule :)
