i was thinking about getting usb flash drives for webmasters...

would you use it ?

I use mine all the time. Get at least a gig pref 2 if you are gonna give them as branded gifts so they will actually be useful :thumbsup

I use mine extensively for passwords and 'must have' utilities for on site clientel.

I got a 4GB from buy.com. I use it mostly for pic transfers and as a 3rd backup for documents I need and travel with.

all the time. i have 3 or 4 of them floating around the office. its better than wasting cds when you need to transfer some small amounts of data.

A flash drive is essential for anyone who plays around with computers all day. I just got a new 4gb model from buy.com. It rocks. Plug and play, baby! No more wasted CDs for me.

Yeah they are so helpful to store and swap stuff between computers! But they are so small I end up losing a few.

For sure. I use mine for all kinds of stuff. I back up everything on different ones. Taxes on one, model releases on another. They would be a cool webmaster gift.

I don't use them. I have one that I purchased because I thought I needed it NOW but it turned out I never used it.

I ordered one on accident so now I have a 2GB. Not a big deal, I can use it for my Quick Books files and other important crap.

I have 2. One is 512MB and I use it for fast data transfers between computers I work with and the second one is a 1GB Emtec which I bought 2 months back and I still haven't opened yet. Looks like I will re-sell it.

i got one a few weeks ago ,2 gigs , very useful but to small and i lost it a few times . I use it for backups .

CDs might be way cheaper, but they are such a hassle. I don't store video so as long as I can keep buying USB drives, I'm happy. My 4GB from buy.com was $40, and prices will continue to drop and capacities will continue to increase. I love flash drives!:thumbsup

Yes, its were I keep small utilities, bookmarks and mobo drivers.
