A Big Helping of "Shut the Fuck Up"

No matter what problems you might have today, be glad they don't look like this:

Watch the video, the whole town is GONE. Stuff like this reminds me that things could always be much worse.

Really makes the day to day problems of life seem rather insignificant doesn't it?

Funbrunette 05-05-2007 04:01 PM

I've been through this once, during Hurricane Andrew back in 1992. It was amazing the houses and apartment complexes that just disappeared after Andrew blew through, including the entire Homestead Air Force Base. I wouldn't have fucking wished that on anyone...

I hope those folks can rebuild - that is brutal devastation

Fap 05-06-2007 09:42 PM

Really sucks for them. Not quite sure why people continue to live in places that it's known that will happen to them.

Isn't it the definition of insane when you keep doing the same thing over and over and expect different results each time?

Everyone, please watch 'An Inconvenient Truth'. make whatever opinions you want after that, but please watch it.

I remember that one as well. Lost a car and a few things -- I was very lucky but most of my neighbors weren't...and Uncle Sam gave me a few K and said move to Arizona afterwards.

Well,
If we didn't live where there is Tornados, Floods, Earthquakes, Forest or any other Fires, Mud Slides, Blizzards, Hurricanes, volcanoes, Drought, etc.

Guess that doesn't leave to much of the USA to live in...
