To people who submit galleries to TGPs:

On the galleries you submit, do you get more converts by linking to the join page, or to a tour? I've submitted some galleries right now and on the gallery i linked to the join page, i haven't gotten any sign ups despite tons of clicks, so is it better to link to tours?

id try linkin to the tours then... usually i have more success that way

Link to the tour works also better for me.

link to the tour unless the gallery itself is good enough to sell on its own.

try different sponsors and different ways to promote them!

for example:
one week submit galleries with links to the join
on another week try to post galleries with links to the tour.

after two weeks try to change sponsor and after some time you'll have a scheme that will work and a sponsor that converts well for you!

link to the tour. a gallery almost never has enough material to sell a site and make someone sign up.

yup, i go for the tour too... after all that's what the tour was built for...

I don't do galleries any more, but in the past tour links did always better, a gallery isn't enough to presell a visitor and make him join right away
