Tablet Notebooks.. Have You Used Them? Worth It?
 

Between multiple 400+ page textbooks and a bunk back, I'm looking to lighten the load as I tote my backpack around the University.

I'm currently considering a Tablet Notebook (specifically the one here), and I'm wondering how their functionality is.

The way I see it, I can scan all of my texts into this thing at the start of the semester, carry it around in lieu of those books, and mark the scans up as I please. I figure I can save cash by not having to buy paper notebooks, etc. anymore, and just use this thing to take notes in class, and later convert my notes to text or format them however I want.

But then, I also figure that they could be a pain in the ass if their touchscreens don't work as well as I hope they will.

Anyone have experience with Tablet PC's and want to share their insight?

I'd appreciate it.
