I'm bleeding like a bitch..

Ouch I just got my wisdom teeth out.....aww

Beastiepoo 08-22-2002 11:33 AM

Awww. Poor baby. Look forward to looking like a chipmunk and eating nothing but soup or icecream that you can spoon into your barely open mouth. Enjoy the painkillers though!

B40 08-22-2002 11:35 AM

Hehe pain killers are for pussies....might need some though..

I hate this guaze in my mouth...makes me gag

bhutocracy 08-22-2002 11:37 AM

the painkillers you get rock.. never understood how people got addicted to painkillers till i took those super strength analgesics.
get some arnica for any bruising in your cheeks

gothweb 08-22-2002 11:37 AM

Argh. It isn't 1/10th as bad as people told me it would be, but it still seriously sucked. On the up side, you can live off of pudding for a couple of days. Mmm...

B40 08-22-2002 11:39 AM

Yeah it's not as bad as I heard.

I'll probably be living off juice and soup for the next couple days.

They prescribed me Tylenol #3:thumbsup

mrthumbs 08-22-2002 11:39 AM

That shit hurts man.. but it heals quickly so you'll be out of pain
in a few days.. dont worry. Just drink a shitload of alcohol
to keep it disinfected.

mastamindz 08-22-2002 11:41 AM

I might have to get mine taken out soon. Was it as bad as everyone says? Im afraid :uhoh

Tylenol #3 has codeine. You can't get it over the counter, you need a prescription for it. It's a narcotic.

Nah it's not that bad....I was knocked out so I don't even remember a thing.

bhutocracy 08-22-2002 11:48 AM

ahhhh found it.. sweet.. tylenol #3 : 300mg analgesic and 30mg codeine..
though i'll take 30mg codeine for a headache... used to get migraines. you can get a 100 pack of 10mg codeine tablets over the counter here for around $6.. good for a headache prone individual such as myself.

B40 08-22-2002 11:49 AM

Well anyways I'm off the bed to get some rest. Check you all later.

sexyclicks 08-22-2002 11:52 AM

I am going this Wednesday to remove 2 of them :(

grumpy 08-22-2002 11:56 AM

cry baby

B40 08-22-2002 08:31 PM

Actually it's not as bad as I thought it'd be. Just a bit of pain now. Never took any tylenol 3's, just normal tylenol. Bleeding has stopped a long time ago. So now just gota deal with the pain and it ain't even a lot.

letshunt 08-22-2002 08:33 PM

Take three of those Tylenol 3's, wash it down with a couple shots of whiskey and a few beers, as a chaser, you will think you died and went to heaven.

foe 08-22-2002 08:35 PM

Sucks feel better

rdunn404 08-22-2002 08:39 PM

Bleeding like a bitch? I read that and thought you meant you had blood coming out your ass like a chick on the rag...

phogirl69 08-22-2002 09:04 PM

I have to get this done soon and I am SOOOO scared :(

B40, Did they give you any stitches btw? I just want to know because I have to go through it soon.... And did they have to smash the wisdom teeth and vacuum it out??? Does it hurt if they have to vacuum it out? I have REALLY been procrastinating getting my wisdom teeth taken out because I am a big wuss...

I am thinking about getting full anasthesia and getting put to sleep, instead of just the regular shot, because I don't want to be awake while they are doing it... But then I'm afraid that I'll sleep forever and never wake up..... lol :(

hehe smash? i don't know what they did. I was knocked out. The dentist gave me an injection...then the nurse is like I'm going to put a mask on your face, it's just oxygen, cleaner then oxygen. Remember looking around for about a minute, then boom...knocked out. No memories.

Wake up in a bed in the resting area and the nurse tells me I've been sleeping for 2 hours. Tells me to sit up and there's all this drool with saliva and blood on the pillow mat thingie. She wipes it up, gives me some guaze and then I went home and slept.

I stayed up really late last night, like only 2-3 hours sleep, actually come to think of it I didn't fall asleep just tossed and turned. So I got back really tired and slept for about 8 hours.

I did that about four months ago..maybe longer now...anyway they fucked my jaws up.

I now have dead nerves in my upper jaws and my tongue always feels like there's a clamp on it.

I have difficulty swallowing and if I eat or drink anything cold it makes it worse.

Did you ask for the full anasthesia (being put to sleep) or did they just give it to you? I'm scaaaaaaared :( :( :(
This will probably be the most severe and most painful medical procedure I'll ever have done in my whole entire life (I've never had surgery) so I guess this is serious like surgery :( I don't wanna die..... lol

:(

phogirl...what I had done was what they call "twilight."

Some people fall asleep because you become so relaxed but I didn't...they just shot me up with something that made me not give a damn.
I just laid there while they wrenched everything out and I suffer from panic attacks and didn't have a single one.

In all honesty I would rather have this feeling I have now than the pain I was going through before they pulled the damn things.

Sure I'm uncomfortable but damn my wizdoms were impacted and causing some serious pain.
