I thought that 2257 forms are only required for "obscene" material, and I thought that doesn't include tits. So I would think that you can't really get nailed for child porn.

The fact that you don't have model releases could be a problem though, but if this kind of content sells well for you, the risks may be worth it. In the worst case the models involved may bring a civil suit againt you.

This type of content is exempt from the requirements of 18 usc section 2257 because it contains no sexually explicit conduct, as defined in 18 usc section 2256

"The law" as you refer to it is specifically U.S. law, right (i.e. 2257)? This material is from a European content provider so as I read it, his content would have to fall under his own laws. Don't U.S. webmasters have to make sure their provider has 2257-compliant material or accept the risk when he doesn't?

Now, I'm not saying that 2257 is a bad idea - in fact, I'm all for it, and am perfectly OK with U.S. legislation having become the de facto standard for the industry. But the potential legal trouble faced by Battus may not be as severe as you suggest.

And thanks to drunkdollars for pointing out that the lack of sexual conduct exempts this material from 2257 anyway. Is this commonly known?
