I'm SEOing all the top wordpress templates! 3 released...
 

Hey guys, I just started a little project. I noticed that there isn't that many SEOed Wordpress templates out there (at least the pretty ones). So I'm going to try to optimize 1 Worpdress template a day and if any of you guys have any template suggestions, just shoot me an email on my site.

Each template is optimized for Headers, titles, and duplicate content (using conditional statements and robot.txt).

Each theme also has Related Posts plugged in, all you need to do is uncomment it.

I'll be writing a guide on how I optimize my site with all my favorite plugins today!

Great work. I have my own wordpress template. I think I download one or more your optimized templates and try to learn something. I haven't done any optimization to my template yet. There has been so much other things in my mind that I haven't even thinked about it.

Why optimize yourself when I do it for free;)

Can someone explain what you use the 'robot.txt' in your root files for wordpress for...

It basically lets you disallow search engines from indexing parts of your site by referencing that part in the robots.txt file. Read more about it at this Wikipedia article.

Just so you know, the file needs to be "robots.txt" or it won't be read by the search engines.
