Writing on the wall for epass ? Blocked by chase bank.

Chase is a big bank and I am sure they have millions of customers. If banks like Chase are blocking epassporte because of gambling, I don't think the govt can be too far behind them. (usually it is the other way around).

I can no longer use my chase account to transfer money to epassporte. Just got this today.

This is something through Visa for debit cards so we have no control over their decision. I wonder which other banks do this as well or will follow chase on this .

Sooner or later all banks will ban epass.Except maybe little banks.

where is your bank located (in the us)? did you have to talk to anyone there? if so can you provide a number.

I've gone round and round with my bank. They would fix it and it would work for a couple weeks then it would block it, this has happened 3 times over the last 5 months. Now they give me the response that looks like, oh well.

Hard to believe i am being told one thing having all this trouble and yours goes right through. any more info to share ?

My bank is located in the US(Wisconsin). A few months back they blocked a transaction and called me about *suspicious* activity on my Chase account. The number to call is on the back of the credit card.
The person I talked to told me to set up the *Chase security feature* that pops up now whenever I use Epass. There hasn't been any issues since I did that.

Just this moment I loaded $100 from my chase to Epass,to make sure there weren't any new issues since Wednesday.

SUCCESS!

You have successfully loaded US$100.00 in to your ePassporte Account

That Chase security thing is called verified by visa.
