Zombie Movie Fans?
 

I have never been a zombie movie fan but after playing hours of Half Life 2 I'm now seeing the fun of them.

I saw the original "Night of the Living Dead" when it was out. It scared people to friggin' death almost.

I've seen some funny zombie movies too but I didn't know there was such a huge fandom for zombie movies.

Next thing ya' know the Bangbros will have a Zombie Bus or something.

When I was a kid I was big into zombie movies. I had probably seen just about all of them. I especially liked Dawn of the Dead (unrated, 1978.)
I was all into blood & gore and that movie delivered.

I rented it recently and it was a little more boring than I remember...and the acting wasn't very good, but it took me back. Still a fave I guess, along with the original Night of the Living Dead.

Romero's original Dawn Of The Dead is the best Zombie movie of all time. Check out the 3rd one too - Day Of The Dead. Absolutely brilliant movies.

If you're a newcomer to them, I'd suggest:
of course, the Romero quadrilogy, even the Dawn of The Dead remake was pretty good.

I got the Half Life 2 pc game mods that have zombie mania in them. You can add your own music and just shoot zombies allllll day long. Big gooshey green and red blood bursting from bloated zombie heads. You can set zombies on fire with a flare gun and then beat them to even more death with a shovel or crow bar.

Dead Rising for the XBox360 is a great zombie game, as are the Resident Evil titles.

I like almost all Zombie movies. I say almost all, because I have seen a few stinkers. For example, I just seen Return of the Living Dead Part 5: Rave To The Grave, on the satellite last week. Must have been a direct to video deal. I never even knew they were up to part 4.

This one was really bad, though almost bad enough that it was funny.

28 Weeks Later was really good, caught that this weekend. (although I guess they are technically not zombies.)

One of the funniest things I've ever seen was on tv a few months ago. It was some southern bible belt baptist good ol' boy who was discussing damage from a tornado and he actually on the air told the news reporter that people need to be prepared for disasters like this as the United States wasn't prepared for these events especially when the zombies come out and people run out of ammo. What made matters worse is that his friend or brother actually backed him up on the air with this shit and the people in the background who were picking through rubble didn't miss a beat as they listened to him say this shit.

The thought that there are actually people who think zombies will one day
attack America is scarier than any Cold War era stuff by far.
