You should just put pictures of me up around your house, people will respect you more for actually having a cool "friend".

I would say it depends. For example if they are pics of you with other people or achieving something (like wedding pics or graduation things like that) than I would say they probably aren't. If they are pictures of you that you just like, I would say yes.

-Definitely egotistical if you're the only one in the pic.

-A bit egotistical if there's other people in the pic with you.

-Not egotistical if you're not in the pic.

I say, use the above as a guide, and decorate your place with your own confort-level of arrogance. :)

I decided only to put the ones with me in it that have my whole family and one with me and my pops fishing. I feel centered after all is done.

I'm not really a decorator myself, but, for those who do decorate, I think hanging pictures of the people who live there is pretty normal.

Not at all. Actually 99 percent all the pics I have are of myself and I'm just a normal webmaster. I just like to see what I look like at from different angles.

It would be cool to have artistic shots of yourself in the house, perhaps some classy black and whites, and perhaps also a painting or have a painting done after a favourite picture of yourself.

I know lots of people who only have pics of themselves in the house, HUGE ones too.

I'm not talking about pics with other people, I'm talking about self-portraits. I don't see anything wrong with having it be all about yourself. It's your house, so why not? Fuck what others think.

I actually don't really like having pics of others in my house, only myself.

I have no interest in having pics of "other people" in my house, especially if I'm not included.

I don't care if it is egotistical or not, it's my house and the last place I would want to have to be "politically correct" or conform to "social norms" is in my own house.

Really, what would bring someone to put pictures of themselves around their house? Do you look so different in real life that you need pictures for house guests to make some sort of connection to know whose house their in?
