Paysite owners, admit it, you dont FORGET to send email about site closings

So many sites closings and no notifications sent to affiliates about them closing, redirecting etc etc

Many of you do it on purpose, I've heard it in person, and I've heard rumors of it, and some are plain just obvious

No need to admit it to us here, just admit to yourself you are mild-ly being a thief and mild-ly stealing traffic by not notifying affiliates of your sites closings

So many excuses as to why you "forget" to let us know, yet you NEVER "forget" to send us the spam emails (x's 3) of your sites opening, new tools etc etc

:disgust

I have never forgotten, yet I have only closed one site before and I did not need to email myself. It never left beta.

Not trying to hijack but here's a similar question. Say a sponsor either stops paying or closes a site... should you feel bad about sending that specialized traffic elsewhere and making money from their content?

I did this recently. Sponsor stopped paying. I was still sending 150-200 clicks daily. Not a lot, but its money every month. I pointed the traffic elsewhere and now its doing even better.

Better to monetize the traffic than waste it. With all these sites closing, I tend to be doing this quite a bit lately.
