WTF?!? 2000charge gets a German Lawyer to hunt me for money!
So I did a test sign up using 2000charge for a naughtyamerica site a few months ago...
I wanted to test the 2000charge option for direct debit transfers from german accounts as I often advise my clients on alternate billing options for the german market due to the fact that a large percentage of germans have no credit card. Today I got a letter from a german lawyer asking for 70 euros ... the basic 25 euro charge for the membership + lawyer fees So WTF...it obviously does not work... I'm sure my bank account had enough money in it at the time...I'm pissed not so much about the money but the cheek they have:mad: |
im gettin in early

Can you explain that again.

Lawyers must be cheap in Germany...suing for 70 euros?!?

the billing service should take the money(25 euros) from my account a few months later I have a lawyer wanting me to pay 70 euros |
they're just bluffing, the company lawyer had nothing to do so he decided to try to scam you
|
probably a form-letter that got sent out to everyone, I wouldn't sweat about it...

not suing yet...just sending me a "kind" reminder for the membership + 45 for their "service"...including a money transfer form that is already filled in and just needs my bank details + signature heh |
man they dont play
|
hmmm... I wouldn't trust it, just disregard it and see if anything gets followed up.

it is definitely a form letter and they really don't play round here... every follow up will have an extra charge to it cheeky fuckers |
i use 200charge for my sites as an EU alternative... not used too much but does serve it purpose. but i have to be honest, any of my customers getting a letter like this would be really upsetting to me personally..
