I speak about enough spanish to get laid, and then apologize later for not calling.

I just sent a really sweet text msg. to a chica and the response she sent was: Que curioso!

translation please..?

Is that like Que peculiar? O mas como, Que romantica? Que es curioso?

There really isn't just a simple translation. It means curious, but I know here in Puerto Rico they said it when something is kind of different or interesting sometimes.

It all depends on what you're doing or saying when you get that reponse. If you're looking at a girl's tits and she catches you she might say bellaco or que curioso. A girl might also say it if you really want to know something and you keep asking and asking.

Que curioso! = pinche pendejo

i'd say it means "how interesting" in a flirty manner. but like previous posters said, it needs the context to better understand it.

It's literally the word "curious" with an "o" added to the end of it... And you couldn't sort of guess what it might mean?

Thanks captn obvious, of course i realized that. But i think it's not a case of straight-translation... in other words, i don't think she meant 'how curious' i think it's likely a more regional expression and is hard to understand the exact meaning of... maybe something only a native spanish speaker might understand.

Anyhow, i think it means she's curious about me. Least i hope so. :winkwink:
