Serious fucking question to a lot of you, specially the whores.

Ok a site is converting great for you, why in the fuck would you even mention it let alone start giving out ref codes? Do you really think that extra referral money much of which is never paid will compensate for the new competition you will soon have?

So tell me please.

Unless your just a fucking referral spammer like a few well known ones around here who have referral codes for every site that pays. I also understand some referral suggestions for like up sell crap as well that goes into pay sites or such. The rest well do explain.

Damn dude, I didnt get LOST either tonight

Well, I'm a photographer so I don't actively promote many sites. I am compensated every month for my sig plus the referral percentages.

My sig brings in more money each month than my highest paying mainstream job ever did. And all I have to do is post here which I do anyway.

Kinda stupid to not take advantage of that. :2 cents: Plus, I never put a company in my sig that I don't like.....Well, I did once but that was to make a few quick bucks. :)

You are not really an affiliate so you also do not qualify for this bitch fest.

DamageX 05-23-2007 08:53 PM

I don't think that's the worst part of it. I've never understood why people would fly crappy sponsors in their sigs, or big over-saturated sponsors. At least if you give reflinks to a new sponsor that's converting decently you have a good chance of banking on someone else working that channel as well. But for crying out loud, isn't everyone already signed up with TCG?!?!? I don't see why people are flying such sponsors in their sigs, especially if they don't get paid a fixed rate for their sigs.

My mom told me to do it that way:thumbsup

But, seriously, how long does a great thing go unknown? Word gets out pretty quickly unless a program is invite only. It's nice to get into a new program early and pick up some referrals before everyone has signed up.

Im not so much an affiliate traffic pusher. I do decently. I dont normally post referrals too often unless someone asks for a specific type site. I posted quite a few recently, but to be honest TeenRevenue has a nice 200.00 referral which Ive already hit 3 times so far due to referrals on here, and also had a bunch of others sign up under the standard referral percentage. (Ive posted the links both ways) and everyone is getting a good amount of sales. Only 5% but those are recurring, and Im already getting rebills, as our the people that signed under me. So its a good deal I think in this case.

RedShoe 05-23-2007 09:17 PM

When I was at TripleXCash, I put my referral in my sig. I haven't worked there in YEARS. And I still get paid weekly from my referrals.

Nicky 05-23-2007 09:17 PM

What can I say im such a nice guy, I want other people to make money when I refer them :)

OG LennyT 05-23-2007 09:18 PM

congrats to the winners

mattz 05-23-2007 09:19 PM

I don't mind telling the sponsor I use, I usually won't say what site it is, but sometimes I do. I just never tell how I am getting the conversions, I think that's the important part.

The Other Steve 05-23-2007 09:26 PM

I like the idiots who have a sponsor in their sig with a line that says they convert really well ... and right above it you see them whinging and whining about how their sponsors aren't converting.

That just makes me laugh.

Furious_Female 05-23-2007 09:30 PM

Too many people think short term quick cash... they don't think about 6 to 12 months from now :disgust And it only takes one idiot to ruin something good for many people :Oh crap

woj 05-23-2007 10:25 PM

Good sponsor will get known eventually anyway... so you can either post the ref code yourself and get webmaster ref $$, or you can watch someone else post it...

I see your point, but it really wont be long before everyone knows anyways.

And I have yet to have a sponsor not pay me my referral fee.

BlackCrayon 05-23-2007 11:17 PM

Some men you just can't reach.
