IP Address Blocked

I was wondering what the best or most cost effective way/service to control your IP address, blocking it would be ok I guess, but would really love to control the IP address, and have multiple #’s I could use. Never been so up on the whole “Big Bother” crap, but I had a viewer ask me and it started me thinking about all this. Any help would really be appreciated

most convenience stores like 7-11 offer prepaid IP address cards. you just buy the card, scratch off the back to get the number and enter it into your connection settings. they only cost 6.00 usually. the premium IP addresses can be more expensive, but you just need the 6.00 one unless you have a network of mail relays or hit bots... then you need the 12.00 one.

ip address cards lulz

SmokeyTheBear 05-27-2007 10:52 AM

unless your encoding your requests before they leave your computer , it doesnt matter how many ip's you have , the information can be traced back to your individual computer ( you would also need to be recieving encoded material )

thinking about it though makes me want to build it ..

if the individual has a key thats then encoded with the super key from a server , then together they create a key that encodes your requests and sends them back to you , only you could break the code. thus making the information secure to any outside prying eyes

well in a way they do have this..

at 7-11 they have ppm internet cards that would technically give you a new ip address, they arent ip's though that doesnt make technical sense :)

of course you cant just plug a new ip into your existing isp. but if your using ppm internet your getting a new ip everytime so basically the same thing..

You want true anonymity? Go back to dialup and sign up fake names under AOL - use the free trials until they run out and repeat.

If your on any kind of high speed connection, you can and will be tracked. Period.

Try this http://tor.eff.org/

It can be slow at times but your IP wont be logged and tracing it back will be a pain in the ass to do, some say its possible some say it aint. But the people that say its possible give some pretty hard scenarios on how your IP could be traced.

theres plenty of ways to control your ip , but i think your missing the basic dynamic of how the internet works.

you send a request thru your internet service provider, it gets the mateiral and send it back theu your isp to you. thus your isp can listen in on everything you do , see, type , etc.

no amount of ip wizardy will get you past that part. you can hide yourself from other net users but you cant trick the isp..

when you make a request to a server , it send the info back to the ip that requested it, thus you can't stay hidden or the info wont make it back to you.

the way to stay truly anonymous is to encrypt the request and have encrypted results sent back to you, thus youir isp could still listen in but it would all be gibberish

If you just want to get past your ISP, you could write some sort of proxy script that converts all http:// URLs to https://proxysite.com?url=... format. All communication between the browser and proxy site is encrypted. Of course the host will be able to see your traffic.......

yahoo-xxx-girls.com 05-29-2007 10:59 AM

Do you have a better example ^^

https://proxysite.com does not seem to work ^^

You know DARPA was the creator of the Internet ... Do u know what they do ^^

I'm just a little under educated PLEASE help educate me.

Plenty times in the past I've used VPN proxy services that are very effective - you can change your ip between like 50 different choice that are updated weekly

Can't remember that site though, I'm actually looking for it so I can sign up again

darling2 05-29-2007 02:13 PM

You can connect trough via VPN through Find Not

They have tons of servers in multiple countries you can connect through and get a new IP address each time.

maxpower 06-01-2007 12:35 PM

Thanks guys I will check some of this stuff out, just really looking to hide IP from other sites and webmasters more than Big Bother or anything so not sure I need to go to nuts on all this, but some anonymity or at least the option of it would be nice sometimes

pornguy 06-01-2007 12:39 PM

I have 5 static IP's that I can use. thanks to my ISP.

maxpower 06-01-2007 12:45 PM

Ya I want to do kind of the same thing, seems having multiple personalities might not be such a bad thing for a webmaster, and I do love clock and dagger crap like this.
