Whoa, has anyone noticed what google is doing in their search results?
i was just doing some random searches and i came across youtube video links...
so for the youtube.com listings they are including screenshots in google's results... this will only make it harder for media sites to get traffic... try this search: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...Search&me ta= |
|
Yup, those have been there for atleast a week+ now
|
It's probably because you have "you tube" in your search criteria.
For a "music video" search, the only youtube result on page 1 is a sponsored link: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...eo&btnG=Search |
say goodbye to the interweb, welcome to googweb...
|
It's a great improvement over the standard search results and a great reason to move into cross marketing of Google products and receive even more traffic for your efforts.

Google is now incorporating other types of media/web sites into search results, go check the SEO sites for the discussions about it.
It's called Universal Search: http://blog.searchenginewatch.com/blog/070516-164804 It's now not about what is relevant, it's the perception of relevance, apparently... |
