your totaly missing the part where its a flimsy , dangerours piece of shit, and that coal was burned to create the power that generates the air compressors, meaning its not realy that helpful to the environment. I bet it sells well though, ot bad it will never pass the crash tests to get in the us.

The car is made in india, and will primarily only be distrubuted there.

edite: its good in theory, and its a good start and all, but its far from green. I would love to have some equity in that company though once they figure out how to get it approved for sale in the us, because there are plenty of dumb "green" people who would pay good money for something like this. From a business aspect this is a brilliant product that wont need much of an ad budget, al gores panic inducing seminars and books will more than do the job for them =)

You have to check the system all the way back to the source. Anything that generates it's power from electric needs to be questioned, because many places generate their electricity by burning coal, oil, or natural gas. Only in very advanced civilizations (such as Canada) is a large portion of electrical power generated by hydro electic methods.

You'd think they could make a motorcycle or moped or smart car type version. This one would have more merit than an electric car with all the batteries that end up in landfills.

I saw this featured on a program a few days ago. Towards the end of the segment the narrator started rambling on about how in the future they'll build a compressed air generator that will allow the car to "refill" on ambient air as it drives. Uh, yeah, that's called perpetual motion, and kinda breaks the laws of physics.

You're totally missing the part where I don't care.

Even if this is not 100% green, its still MUCH MUCH BETTER than anything else out there so why bitch?

born2blog 05-31-2007 12:05 AM

Imagine that, who woulda thunk we could survive without oil?!?!?

I care about the car, I don't care about the shit you mentioned. Try to grasp the concept of that and you'll be better off.
