anyone familiar with FCP for HD ??
Anyone familiar with FCP's Compressor for HD?
I'm not familiar with this compressor, I've never used it since with FCP i've always exported to tape ... I was wondering what the correct setting for a mpeg4 de-interlaced video would be with this compressor ... anyone? |
No one?? bump for the weekend crowd

i don't believe this .. No one ??

Compressor is your best bet pal. Use the h.264 settings for HD ;)

The bit rate seems to be the key |

I shoot on serveral different cameras too. Panasonic for HD and DVCPRO. Sony for DVCAM and minidv and Canon for minidv. On the photo side though I stick to Nikon (I used to be a canon person but made the switch) Jim, I'm also having the same problem with sorreson on the PC |
Vid,
Mac user here. I have never had much success with Compressor. I ditch it for Episode Pro. (http://www.telestream.net/products/episode_pro.htm). It has pretty good presets right out of the box. Easy to tweak and has been a workhorse for me. Good luck. |
thanks sinclair .. I'll take a look ..
We're still tweaking FCP's Compress to get a good mpeg2 for delivery ... trial and error is the only way to figure it out ... Could still use some input on sorrenson squize for PC too |
No sir but I am most certainly down with opp.
