yeah just a red white n black wire to solder.

i am gonna pick up some solder tomorrow to make it beefier. I was using caked up solder on the solder gun. But i rigged it for now.

Thats stupid. I always thought for a new battery you had to send the Ipod in for them to do it. Either way the battery system for the Ipod is stupid.

how much is the battery?

that sucks. ive had to replace the battery on my gf's ipod, but it was cake with the ipod mini.

ive had my archos for about 4 years... NEVER had to replace the battery

archos > ipod imo

maybe due to lack of money


mc shops here take 40 $ for battery change
