Does anyone use a Tablet PC?
I'm considering getting one for school, scanning all of my books, and using it in place of a notebook in order to give myself a lotless crap to tote around.
My only real concern is how natural writing on one will feel. I haven't really used a PDA-type stylus-type thing since before Palms had color screens. I also keep getting flashbacks to those "light pens" from the early 80's. Any advice or info on the subject? |
Not yet, but after seeing this last week...I'd really like to get one:

With its condensed form factor and integrated pen-based user experience the Axiotron ModBook is the ultimate companion for applications and situations where a keyboard only gets in the way. http://www.axiotron.com/index.php?id=modbook |
It sucks royal cock. Use a lose-leaf notebook.

That Modbook using Wacom's technology and their products work quite well from my experience...and I didn't even have the highend stuff.

Its a decent idea, i have tried doing this. If you are really set on doing this get a good tablet not a cheap one like i got and remember it takes a long time to go digital (scanning book)

wow those still exist?

I used one years ago, and it was pretty convenient.
They've come leaps and bounds... |
