This Paris thing is BULLSHIT.
I hate the cunt.
However, I think she was screwed. In '91 I got a DUI. The sentence was 1 year probation, and a 1 year license supension. I ignored the suspension. I'm a REALLY shitty driver, so I got pulled over for speeding 3 times in that year. The first two times I got a $150 dollar TICKET for driving while suspended, the third time they just gave me a summons for a B misdemeanor DWS. At no time was I arrested. The sentence for the final DWS was 90 more days of suspension, and court costs. I didn't even have a lawyer. :eek7 |
i'd hit it from here to texas and back, twice!
i don't care much, i just like using her for views. i highly doubt her daddy wrote anyone a check to let her out. they are fucking this up on their own, meaning the sheriffs dept. |
I got a DUI when I was 17 and had to serve 30 days in jail, I got out in 14.
I was put on probation first, but the fuckin lady said I did not have a "real job" and she said I had to get one and attend AA. I told her to fuck off :) |
what state did all of this happen in?
|
There are fucking violent felons in Cali and all over this country getting early release and/or house arrest. If that judge had ANY sense he'd have stuck her on house arrest in the first place.
I would NOT want her in MY jail if I was a sheriff. WTF? Can you imagine the bullshit? She stubs a toe and it would cost LA county MILLIONS. |
i never would hit such an ugly chicken........
and i am not speaking about jimthe....... |

I do agree that this circus is out of control, bitch should do her time and stfu. My issue is only that she even got the time in the first place.
|
the judge purposely gave her the jail time to teach celebs a lesson. the sheriffs office fucked up his idea. thats what really happened.
its really bad here in l.a. with celebs unleashed. hahaha. i like living in the circus state, i'm embarassed by the system, not the celebs. one thing you gotta give this whole thing is it IS entertainment so the holywood celeb machine is doing their jobs. they are supposed to entertain. |
Last night as I drifted off to sleep, I made a wish...that Paris Hilton would wear a tshirt with one of my URLs on it...all this exposure she's getting...wow...

This would be my number ONE concern if I worked for the sheriff's office. This bitch has the money and the right people to drop a multi million dollar bitchslap on anyone at a moments notice. Think of all the things she could "try" to sue on: Unclean enviornment Unacceptable food Lack of Excercise Lack of medical treatment options Rape Any other sexual assault ...and the list goes on. The catch is, the common criminal doesn't have the financial backing to sue on any of this. Can you imagine the number of tine mistakes made daily in a prision that were not 100% by the book? All she has to do is CLAIM one.... |
I heard she was in a cell by herself. Suing for rape might be hard :)

My uncle got caught for DUI - then driving with a suspended licence under influence of pot and put in jail for almost 3 months....so it's possible.
|
Somebody please explain to me how another's "worse" crime has any bearing at all on what a separate individual should be punished for? I never understand that rationale.
"The streets are dirty, that nullifies your peeping Tom crime!" Rapid Share posts lots of videos. Joe Blow uses Twistys content to promote Top Bucks site. Should Joe Blow really not be punished? |
whats that old saying....
Money talks, bullshit walks |
Where I live, If that was her second dui she would have gotten 90 days with 75 suspended as long as she remains law abiding for 1 year. If she would have been caught driving on suspension in that 1 year the judge would fine her and make her serve the 75 days he suspended.

Nobody NORMALLY gets 45 fucking days for driving while suspended, first offense. Period. It's nonsense.

Just goes to show money can't buy you happiness.

Apples and oranges, man. Also, she was officially on probation. You weren't. The first time she was busted on probation, she was reportedly told that her offense merited jail time, but the judge would let her off easy - that time... you weren't. The chick shows a blatant disregard for the law, and made it pretty obvious that she feels she's above it all. A reality check's in order, imho. I think she got exactly what she deserved in the initial sentencing. In this recent drama, however, I do kinda sympathize for her. The sheriff's a schmuck for creating the situation out of his inflated sense of self-worth. |

She did not recieve a slap on the wrist in the first place. She recieved what an average person would recieve for a first offense. It is not infrequent for a person to be let out of jail to serve house arrest for many different reasons including medical reasons. So you are wrong. Quote: I know someone who went to jail for his first offense of driving with a suspended liscence (actually he had just parked his car) off Sunset. No other crimes were in the process of being committed - including wreckless driving or break of probation. You are not telling the whole story, and maybe were not told the whole story. There would not be any jail time for anyone with a first offense. So you are wrong. Quote: I think that's very debatable. To me, it simply seems he noticed someone that considered herself impervious to the system, and so saught the maximum he could under the law in an effort to impart onto her that she wasn't. As an Angelino with something very personal at stake in this matter (as I've expressed a couple times now), I, for one, would not have felt she would have been reformed with a simple anklet for a few weeks. The punishment is supposed to fit the crime and driving with a suspended license is not much of a crime. Quote: What country are you from again? Nazi Germany? Imperial Rome? We have this thing called constitutional cgovernment in the U.S. It's the job of the judiciary to interpret law. It's the job of the executive (e.g. the sheriff's office) to execute those interpretations. I know most Americans have fogotten this facet of the way things work here in the last 7 years - but , I assure you, it's still the basis of our State Governments, at least. The Sheriff has the power to release inmates from his jail for many different reasons and he exercises that power virtually every day. It is SOP to the point that he does not normally file with the court, as he is technically required to do. Normally Judges do not interrfer with the power of the Sheriff as this Judge has. I will not be surprised to see the Sheriff file the proper paper work with the court and she will be released to house arrest once again. |

Yes she did get a DUI then she got busted for driving without a license. What part of PROBATION VIOLATION don't you get? |

By the way she only had to do 23 days until she decided to suck off the sherriff to get released after 3 days. And an where I live if you violate your probation you get a minimum of 30 days and typically up to a year. |
my wife had 2 DUI's, the 2nd one while she was on probation.
served 15 days in the womens prison, plus 1K fine, plus loss of licence for 2 more years.... |
150$ for driving with a suspended liscence?!?!?!
man here its like 103450423508$ plus they tow your car for min 30 days and you have to pay for those 30 days anal rape |
I'm torn on the issue. She is clearly being given a tougher penalty than others in that position. The judge is trying to make an example out of her. While I don't have a problem with people who commit the crimes she has getting a taste of the slammer, I think it should be universal to all who do the same thing.
But in the other sense, she has been treated better than most inmates. She got a private room, was given a buzzer to alert guards whenever she felt threatened, and was given very liberal use of the phone. If it was us in that prison, we'd be randomly thrown in with someone and the guards would laugh in our face if we told them we didn't like the food and couldn't sleep. We certainly wouldn't have been sent home for this. But I wish she'd just shut the fuck up and serve her time. She acts like she's being thrown into some Turkish prison with a group of hungry bull-dykes. She's in solitary, gets 3 square meals, and doesn't have to deal with the shit most people in prison do. So pick up a book and read for a couple weeks. There are a lot of people in this world who are in shittier situations and dont' have a fucking nervous breakdown over it. |

I don't care about Paris getting "unfair time" any more than I care about Jerome getting "unfair time" for hitting Rick with a brick. |

I'll admit that I had interest in this before the recent hijinks - due to the fact that she was pulled over on a street that my girlfriend drives home on every night... But most recently I'm interested in it all because of the constitutional facets of the case and how the executive overstepped its constitutional bounds - which seems to be a trend in our country as of late. Good to see the unconstitutionality stomped out for once. |
She's lucky she's even getting jail. My last flirt with a probation violation, when on felony probation, would have landed me in state prison for 2 years. Dumb bitch.
|
until today i'da said it was bullshit she got off so easy...but i was let off easy driving on an expired license so i have no room to talk...verdict=push

'91 was over 15 years ago... the times have changed.

come on now....it's all about who you know and she knows!:)

I'm fine with her on home arrest. BUT I think she should do it for TWICE AS LONG AS SHE WOULD HAVE IN NORMAL JAIL. Thats a fair trade-off for a non-violent crime.
I dont care about her, shes just a normal dumb chick, dime a dozen. It doesnt make me happy my tax dollars are going to pay her room and meals in prison either when shes fucking rich. |
