If some televangelist were spamming pregnant mothers whose hunbands were fighting in iraq his special catalogue of avoid-death-on-the-battlefield charms and amulets, and asking them to endorse him in exchange for the safe return of the husband, i'd be asking the same,

and some confused people would answer me something along the same lines. It's not an answer.

They have a website ( http://www.asacp.org ) perhaps a visit and read might help you to understand what they are working on and their goals. I don't always agree with them, but they come from good intentions, I think.

I gave that website a minute of my day, a few days back.

Basically, it says, let's get people who don't push child porn wear a label saying they don't push child porn and that will ensure that children don't end up in porn.

Oh, right, and they take tips as to who is pushing porn. Because there's really a need of a private hotline, merely calling the official hotlines isn't good enough.

I do not for a second dispute the good intentions. But, building a worse mouse trap with all the best intentions in the world still doesn't justify funding.

I did donate $500 to get Lars to match it. And I would do that for anyone of you too. ASACP is what will save, not only this industry, but all we stand for. Politics aside, step up and do what is right. Like he and his company did.

If you jinx this thread I will put a hex on you and your company.

sorry but for me the ASACP have lost a lot of respect with their choices of who to partner themselves with...my money will go elsewhere

Oystien, a thread that is for and about ASACP and it's goals gets a thumbs up from everyone. I will keep bouncing this up the page and encourage people to support a good organization.
