Webair sucks!

My site is down, yet again, and this time it's been down for over 10 hours. Ever since I started hosting my site with them I've had constant problems. How did they get to be so popular?

CunningStunt 06-14-2007 06:05 AM

You are wrong. I have used them for 5 years, and never had one site down. They don't suck.

Did you call them instead of bitching on a board?

The Duck 06-14-2007 06:15 AM

dedicated can?

RandomNinja 06-14-2007 06:16 AM

Actually I've contacted them every single time I've had a problem. I'm only bitching on a board to warn others, and to try to figure out why people always recommend them.

you are kidding , right ....

Five years , 100% uptime ....

Well stay with them, I can't match that .....

an a :thumbsup to the cheerleaders ...

tranza 06-14-2007 06:25 AM

I never had any problems with them, execpt that downtime a couple of weeks ago, that struck all webmasters.

FuqALot 06-14-2007 06:27 AM

the techs over there are so clueless..

really, if you have an issue with your server then you're best of requesting a complete new system, or simply changing hosts, becos there is no way they are going to fix the issue completely and in time. and if they do fix it, it's just a temp. fix like rebooting the webserver or myselserver. but the problem will return again. i have had enough of them, and only have a few websites there to keep the ip number.

I don't know who the fuck you are talking to but every time I click "LIVE HELP" I get everything I needed done in less then 5 minutes.

WebairGerard 06-14-2007 07:14 AM

Hey Ninja, get with our support team when you have an issue so they can help you. If you ever feel that you are not getting an issue resolved or want to discuss anything regarding your account feel free to contact me directly as well.

BTW in response to what Polish_Aristocrats said: we DO NOT outsource our support. All Webair techs are Webair employees in our datacenters.

rockbear 06-14-2007 07:23 AM

I have to agree with you about the tech. Every time I contact the live chat the person dosen't know what he is doing. He is like a secretary blonde. Mike should change those persons but dosen't seems to want. But for the uptime two thumbs up guys. Really reliable for that for me.

#2....I've been with webair since 03', never had a problem personally.

Pete-KT 06-14-2007 08:35 AM

Had servers with Webair since 2004 and never had any downtime, are you on a virtual $10.00 account?

Not even a few weeks back when everyone was down?

:winkwink::winkwink:

Turboface 06-15-2007 01:56 PM

WebAir rocks, and always has.

:thumbsup

GrouchyAdmin 06-15-2007 01:59 PM

WebAir's vitual accounts are awful. However, their dedicated systems are nice and smooth - and they're much more technically competent than, uhm, shall we say the standard CPanel resellers.

If you want a $10 account, WebAir is not what you want. If you can afford your own system, they're sublime.

People that say they never have downtime, are either lying or dumb as fuck.

Everyone have downtime, its how the downtime is handled that's important.
