Looking for a file renaming program
alright here is the problem, I am ripping comp dvds, so there are 20-30 scenes a piece. I use DVD shrink to rip the scenes and I have this folder structure
DVD ID- -vob- _scene number- -dvd info like VTS_01_1.VOB etc I usually just go in and rename the vob 1-5 or however many scenes are in the dvd but doing that for 200+ dvds with 20+ scenes is going to be a pain. So was wondering if anyone knows of a program (not bulk rename, they all have to be in the same folder for that to work and the files are all the same name so I can't do a search and drag) that can go in, recognize the folder name as 1 go in and rename the VOB in folder 1 to 1.VOB and then go in and rename the VOB in folder 2 to 2.VOB etc etc and then possibly move them into the DVD ID folder. It doesn't have to move the file after the rename as that is easy enough to do manually. Any help would be appreciated. |
"bulk rename utility" has pretty advanced settings
