A few years ago before I got XM I used to listen to it on my trips back from Memphis and Nashville. I used to get a kick out of it but some of the stuff was pretty tough to digest. Now I get my fill of conspiracy theories and alien sightings from the History Channel and Discovery Times.

yeah, i listen sometimes. Good for working through the night when music just isn't cutting it...

on occassion i have listened - i like the idea of a creepy conspiracy wacko radio show late at night but the last few times i've listened the shit i've heard discussed is just too idiotic.

It seems to me. When A caller has a point and has information they want to share George Cuts them off and they dont get to say anything. And when a caller has nothing to say and is just full of shit, they are allowed to speak for the longest amounts of time.

The other thing that bothers me is that after the local station commercials the show runs their commercials and then when they are done the guest come on. After every fucking commercial.

I listen when I am up late and nothing else is entertaining.

does Art Bell still do that show on weekends or he retired completely?

at least art bell cared about the listeners and chose topics

now it seems they let any redneck with a fake ufo sighting talk forever

i like late night radio shows - when i was in high school Larry King wasn't a TV guy, he had an all night radio show with amazing guests, authors, celebs, comedians, politicians, scientists, anything - it was great.

now late at night i listen to ESPN Radio but it's pretty lame, i can't find anything good, occassionally i do see what's on Coast to Coast.

They had a guy on last night that said 20% of all people are lizards ?

Finally, the biggest slight in my eyes, even beyond you wasting show time, your choice of half-cocked guests and horrible, boring interaction between callers guests and yourself - yep it's unchecked or unreferenced facts.

You claim you've been doing this for so long, yet you make rookie mistakes that do nothing more than to feed this alarmist, apocalyptic machine that used to be just interesting to consider.

An example: the whole "bees" bullshit. the first night it was a hot topic and you claim it was Einstein who said we'd be wiped out in 4 years if it the bees dissapeared. Yes, while this was a popular sentiment on the INTERNET - the reality is EINSTEIN NEVER SAID THIS. I sent you a fast blast directly afterwards and you never once retracted it or cited a reference throughout the ENTIRE WEEK. Yet you CONSTANTLY referenced that false quote with the full knowledge it'd stir up listeners unnecessarily.

And then tonight your guest on the show, who is supposed to be at least credible if nothing else - mispronounces Casteneda's name and misunderstands and falsely explains many details about the concepts of Carlos Casteneda's books.

This show is bullshit now and you are a fucking horrible host. You should either go write for one of those grocery store rags or go back to college and learn about broadcasting and journalism.
