To skim or not to skim

To skim or not to skim on text tgp's that is the question.

I am skimming on some of my TGP's.... but I bet it pisses surfers off & possibly drives them away?

But it did increase my traffic and sales when I started to skim, so I was wondering if I should skim untill I get decent/massive traffic then stop? Because growing a site without skimming isn't impossible but it's so slow. atleast now adays.

thanks! :winkwink:

Pisses off surfers but you need the traffic, a small skim isn't that bad

find the balance. I know I hate when I go to a site and I click the thumb 7 times and still dont get the gallery :)

I shoot for a relatively low skim for the first couple clicks but my skim increases the more someone spends time at my site. Meaning if they're clicking on an assload of galleries I'm assuming they like what they see and are willing to visit more trade sites.
(where 100=gallery and 0=trade)

80% for the first 5 clicks 100,100,100,0,100,
then 60% after that.
100,0,100,100,0,
100,0,100,100,0,
100,0,100,100,0,

Keep in mind this may seem a higher than normal percentage because I am attempting to grow my site.
