It was a mini series at first, and later a show. I hate it now because when I was watching the mini series my sister and I let our cocker spaniel outside and got busy watching V. He got hit by a car cause I was too busy watching the show and forgot he was outside. :(:(

That might be it, but imdb doesn't give enough information to be sure. If it was, then I had to be watching it in synication, because I wasn't born yet in 1969. All I really remember was there was a chick on the show that I had a major crush on (yes, even in kindergarten). lol
