What is your favorite "Beer Brand"
Just wondering, I'll have to go with "Hertog Jan" (Dutch beer)

Stone Brewery makes the best beer on earth... Their "arrogant bastard ale" and "stone ruination india pale ale" are for serious beer connoisseurs only - the bottle even proclaims "you are not worthy" and warns the drinker that they probably aren't ready for it
Ok also I like fat tire ale, firestone ale, anchor steam, pacifico, etc. |

If you like "Newcastle", be sure and try "Samuel Smith Brown Ale" from England - you might enjoy the later even more.
If you like Budweiser, be sure to try "Czechvar" from the Czech Republic - the beer that Budweiser was based on (/stole and then refused to grant trademark privileges to when 'Budvar' (the actual name of the beer) first made its appearance in the States) - it's like Bud, but with real taste. Any beer dispensed in a clear or green bottle is something to avoid, IMO. That means Corona, Heinie, Grolsch, whatever... Those bottles (unlike brown or opaque ones) do nothing to protect their beer from the sun's harmful radiation that can easily skunk the hop oils in beer. There's not a knowledgeable brewer in the world who would put any beer they were proud of in a green or clear bottle.... hence the beers are something to avoid, I think. My personal favorite? I always have a 6-pack of Bass in the fridge - and a couple Sierra Nevada Pale Ales... but the best answer, for me, is "whatever beer is currently in front of me" |

Blue Moon is best in Winter, but Franziskaner is great all year round :2 cents: I've also made some great homebrews :) |
