Whats your best golf score ever?

I just had mine on Saturday. Shot a 104.

Whats your best?

pornguy 06-18-2007 02:09 PM

About 96. but I slipped to 105 on the second hole!

Ice 06-18-2007 02:09 PM

78 on a par 72. Most times I'm in the 90's but I couldn't miss that day

The Captain 06-18-2007 02:12 PM

I will only say that I have made par on just one hole in my life....

Jman 06-18-2007 02:14 PM

When I was 14-15 my parents bought me summer membership, the summer of my 15 years I was regularly shooting between 84-88. Now back in the low 100's but broke 96 last summer in Gimli.

Secret is playing, a lot.

When kids we use to play 36 hole a day ;-)

CE_Chris 06-18-2007 02:22 PM

Best 18... Would have to be 37 on the front and 35 on the back for a 72 at Glenwood country club in oldbridge NJ....

Ycaza 06-18-2007 02:27 PM

shot an 81 on a real course and a 67 on a short 18 like 5400 yards

mikeyddddd 06-18-2007 02:34 PM

A 6 over 78. It was the luckiest round of my life. I'm usually in the low 90's.

Chips were rolling in all over the place. Even when I hit a bad shot into the woods it banged around and ricocheted down the fairway.

Penny24Seven 06-18-2007 02:37 PM

67, shot it 8 times now and very mad that I can't beat it. I was 6 under after 11 holes two months ago and fucked that up. I am a 2 at the moment.
Growing up it was either work at McDonalds or this near by golf course. Plus living in Florida helps

Penny24Seven 06-18-2007 02:39 PM

oh and had a 31 on a front nine that was rained out, I played the next day in a money game and wanted to finish my other round after but everyone said I can't have 18 holes in the middle of a round LOL,

seeric 06-18-2007 02:42 PM

lol, you have to shoot 67 everytime for that. Once a month doesn't cut it.
I shot a first round 67 in the city championship and then a 78 , 81 and a 74 to finish LOL, I got put in the top flight with all the fucking pro's. I tried to tell them I got lucky when I was leading after the first day and I sure showed them haha

i'd be happy to do 90.

Strickie 06-18-2007 03:05 PM

I shot a 70 on a par 62 (executive course) at the beginning of the year, it's been a struggle since then :Oh crap

Lee 06-18-2007 03:11 PM

I shot 87 on a particularly easy par 69 course once, but that was a one off. When I used to play regular my goal was to go under 100 and I probably did it about 30% of the time, I tended to average 103-104ish.

Toplessgoat 06-18-2007 03:16 PM

73 on a par 72 for 18 and -1 for 9 holes.

ultimatebbwdotcom 06-18-2007 03:35 PM

Best before lessons was 79. I haven't played a round since starting them but Im averaging 280 with the driver now and have a lovely in/out draw throughout my club range, so definitely looking forward to the first.

If you have been pondering lessons but not had any yet, do it - best money ever spent for the novice golfer.

when you break 90 you will be saying you will be happy for an 80, when you break 80 you will say you want a 70, I remember when my goal was 67 and last time I shot 67 a made a bogey on the last hole and was ready to kill someone LOL, in time if you have the time

Ycaza 06-18-2007 06:57 PM

aico 06-18-2007 06:58 PM

3 over par is my best.

Mutt 06-18-2007 07:04 PM

that's the addiction of golf - most people have a dream goal in their head - breaking 100, breaking 90, breaking 80 - they think when the day comes they'll be satisfied or even give up the game now they accomplished their goal - but as soon as you are in the 90's regularly you'll be wanting to go low 90's and then break 90.

that one great shot a round is what keeps the golf industry thriving - it's crack cocaine.

when i started playing golf i was seriously delusional, i actually believed if i got 5 shots bettet a year I could get on the PGA tour one day. :1orglaugh

DateDoc 06-18-2007 07:34 PM

71 on a pretty easy course. I was an 8 handicap but have not played in ages.

GITZINGER 06-18-2007 07:38 PM

69 on a par 72

but I only finished the first 9 :Oh crap

kane 06-18-2007 07:41 PM

About 10 years ago when I was in my mid 20's I went through a period where I played about 3-4 times a week with some guys I worked with. At the end of the summer I was regularly in the mid 90's for the par 72 18 hole course we went to. One afternoon I was in a zone and could do no wrong. I ended up with a 76 for the day. Best single day of golf I have ever had. The next day, same course, same conditions I got a 102 :) Since that day the best I ever got was an 89 once and then in the 90's or higher ever since.

I have to say even now when I look back on that day it was a perfect day and it does nothing but bring smiles to my face. I can't explain it or understand why it happened. It was like something out of a movie. The guys wouldn't even stand next me as we waited at a tee and after about 7 holes they stopped talking to me because they didn't want to jinx it. I felt like a pitcher throwing a no hitter. Everyone who has ever golfed and known the frustrations of the game should get one of those days in their life.

eroswebmaster 06-18-2007 07:42 PM

Low 80's like 81 / 82, but that was about 20+ years ago.

MandyBlake 06-18-2007 07:43 PM

i've never played so i don't even have a worst score. lol

TampaToker 06-18-2007 07:50 PM
